Okay, stuff has been very tedious this summer. I don't know what, but it's something blocking me or something making me wait. It's either two things: God or Karma. I'm not saying its a bad thing, however I'm thinking there is more yet to come and expand my territory.

What I'm really trying to say is that, I found another studio to record at, but I only have so (little) much time to complete what I've been waiting to do. Make music. To those who are familiar with MosDef you may recall his 1998 group project with fellow Brooklyn MC Talib Kweli in which the duo fell under the alias Blackstar and created what many consider to be a classic album.In an on the spot street interview this year Mos challenged Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne against his crew of Black Thought of the Roots crew and few others in a lyrical battle.Recently, MosDef formed a group with Young Money member, Curren$y & up and comer (as well as Erykah Badu's baby daddy) Jay Electronica. The very unusual trio was matched with an equally abstract name “Center Edge Territory”.This guy evidently has a passion for teamwork.Now Mos,RZA,Jim Jones,Pharoe Monch,Nikki Wray,Raekwon,Q-Tip and NOE have combined forces with blues band the Black Keys to create the monster that is BLAKROC. "Nothing like You"is the funky single for their album which comes out November 27th, in which Mos croons a catchy and creative chorus while Jones mans the verses.though it was short notice on the promo I'll still be coping it and wishing them success.

Potential New Beginning

As Joe Chre said, you will be hearing music from us. I didn't expect it to be so soon to make the foundation. Well, Joe came over and brought the recording equipment. We did at least 2 to 5 songs of other instrumentals and etc. Later on we'll work on custom made beats. Joe made this a chance to show what I got (considering that he's humble) we worked on the stuff I wanted to do. It only took 3 1/2 hours to work on this; planning, listening, writing, etc. It was fun and simple. We worked only to survive on a rap book, laptop, and corn pops cereal.

I think I'll make a mixtape out of this (just sayin') for some reason when I was asked what I was gonna call this I said, "um... I don't know, 'Just Pretending'". So yeah, I can see that. Any way, while recording the room was slight too big and we heard small distractions and echoes so (no homo at all) we made the music in the closet. Funny but it's a start.

Sevket Sahintas works the night shift driving his taxi around Istanbul, Turkey, from midnight until dawn.

His route takes him past symbols of wealth old and new: the ornate carved stone gates of a 19th-century Ottoman sultan's palace, the gleaming high-rises in the city's rapidly growing financial district.
Periodically, Sahintas stops his yellow cab not for customers, but for photos.

"I saw people on the street in winter. They were cold at night," he said. "To make their voices heard, I wanted to buy a camera and show that these people are living in difficult conditions. That's how it started."
Sahintas takes photos of homeless people, who often sleep barefoot in bus stops next to billboards where smiling models advertise everything from ice cream bars to
credit cards.

"I like to capture those contradictions," he said. "Happy smiling people on the ad boards beside that unhappy person who is trying to sleep. I want the happy people to see that minority and do something about it."

Homecoming week kinda sucked. Well, no parade or game. Thats terrible. But, besides from that, I was walking around the school and found new school taggers. They hit the snack machines and restrooms. Then three other people came in and had a party. Kids these days, you never underestimate them.

On a day of memorial, we remember the fallen of 9/11. It's history of the Americans.

Then your musical industry makes history through the third series of Hip- Hop. Jay- Z, also known as, "Jigga Man," has made hip- hop history by releasing his third album series of BluePrint. Cop it. Listen. With songs such as, "D.O.A. (Death of Autotune), and "I Run This Town". You have to hear it. And, his collaborations with Drizzy and McCudi?! I've become a fan.

Today was akward, homecoming dress up was today and the theme is what everybody loves, "Tacky Day". Well, actually, "Mix and Match Day" (Principle thinks it's uncivilized). Tacky day is nothing but your day of just dressing up different. Your attire would be, stripe socks, poka dot shirts, whatever. It had to stand out like a stain on a shirt. Very funny indeed, until you dress up like Jimi Hendrix or Rick James. Either way, it looks like this.

Even though it's an old, fun, random project I brought up again; the people love the orange! I hope there isn't a love affair between it.

The Oranges

My parents told me, "Take pictures of your senior year, you'll remember it." So why not do that, but have a little fun with it? The smiley face was inspired by our previous school artist, AONE, and there was a moment during my junior year where I would take the oranges in the cafeteria and draw those faces on them. It became a neat project to make. So now I'm bringing it back for a while, this little guy travels around the school and does nothing but have an adventure. I find it self amusing to me.
