For a 15 year old guy, who is already attending college, he has left me speechless. He is not only a freaking expert in all the possible course classes out there, but he is also a DJ with mad artist skills. This guy is simply amazing and best of all a good friend.

White Girl

I never heard of these guys, but they are old school in the shelves. Do not think I find inspiration behind this, I just found their cover full of humor.

Sike's improvement

MHS, created by Sike himself of SBK. He's at the point nobody can stop him. My guess, a school favorite. AONE did it, Trane did it, why not Sike?

Project Idea

Okay, I want to let my readers to know what I am doing. I've been visioning about this for about two months. As you know Joe Chre said you will be hearing music from him and I, as of today I want you (reader) to know that I will be making a mixtape project. There are no release dates or anything, just know that this project is now established and will be presented to the audience sooner or later. I want you know that this mixtape project idea is called, "Just Pretending".

Potential New Beginning

As Joe Chre said, you will be hearing music from us. I didn't expect it to be so soon to make the foundation. Well, Joe came over and brought the recording equipment. We did at least 2 to 5 songs of other instrumentals and etc. Later on we'll work on custom made beats. Joe made this a chance to show what I got (considering that he's humble) we worked on the stuff I wanted to do. It only took 3 1/2 hours to work on this; planning, listening, writing, etc. It was fun and simple. We worked only to survive on a rap book, laptop, and corn pops cereal.

I think I'll make a mixtape out of this (just sayin') for some reason when I was asked what I was gonna call this I said, "um... I don't know, 'Just Pretending'". So yeah, I can see that. Any way, while recording the room was slight too big and we heard small distractions and echoes so (no homo at all) we made the music in the closet. Funny but it's a start.

I'll put a link to Joe Chre and my music page so you can check it out.

Presenting Scooby

High Society's own SCOOBY DOO. Don't ask why we call him that, that's just how I knew him by. Another good friend of mine and what better can it be than to rep the cajun land of New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm not gonna touch on what ward he resides in but, this guy is crazy. He carries his own style brings out a little piece of him with it as well. You ain't hot unless you've heard SCOOBY's 'heat rock'. Check em. Listen. Drool over em'.

Joe Chre's arrival - Istanbul's underbelly

This is my first post on the High Society Krew blog,so...whaddup?You'll most likely be seeing more art from me and hearing some music from Zomik and I as well. Also, a lot of my posts won't be about me, for example...

Sevket Sahintas works the night shift driving his taxi around Istanbul, Turkey, from midnight until dawn.

His route takes him past symbols of wealth old and new: the ornate carved stone gates of a 19th-century Ottoman sultan's palace, the gleaming high-rises in the city's rapidly growing financial district.
Periodically, Sahintas stops his yellow cab not for customers, but for photos.

"I saw people on the street in winter. They were cold at night," he said. "To make their voices heard, I wanted to buy a camera and show that these people are living in difficult conditions. That's how it started."
Sahintas takes photos of homeless people, who often sleep barefoot in bus stops next to billboards where smiling models advertise everything from ice cream bars to
credit cards.

"I like to capture those contradictions," he said. "Happy smiling people on the ad boards beside that unhappy person who is trying to sleep. I want the happy people to see that minority and do something about it."

For more info and photography from Sahintas check here @ his official website.

Cisco

I don't know who he is, but as lorena and I were walking to Jack in the Box we saw cisco on some parts of the city. Cisco must have used some sleepy drip markers, either way it's nice. I say it's about time somebody gave Sike some company.

"3D graffiti, whether it’s in chalk or paint, on walls or the street, represents a new way of combining the mastery of Renaissance art techniques with the gritty, ephemeral qualities of amazing street art. These 3D street artists gives graffiti a whole new meaning, one that departs from the conventional interpretation of graffiti as vandalism in the form of images and letters scrawled on public property. Artists like Kurt Wenner, Eduardo Relero and Eric Grohe create street art so incredible it is almost impossible to pass by without being sucked in to the worlds they create on asphalt and concrete surfaces."-anonymous
